Contest Time!

So I know I said I would be starting the contest yesterday. My apologies. Sometimes life just gets in the way, ya know? I also wanted to post this earlier today but then my website host has some issues and my blog went down (again). I apologize for that too!

And now that we have that over and done with, lets get to the free stuff!

So who here has heard of CardSwap?

Ok let me put it this way. Have you ever received a gift card that you didn’t really like or couldn’t use? I know I have, even if it was well meant. Well, you can go to http://www.cardswap.ca and sell you card to them and receive most of the value of the card back in points or cash instead of letting that card go to waste! Pretty smart, eh? You can also buy gift cards for their face value and receive points. Collect enough points (which isn’t tough to do) and you can use it to buy more gift cards for yourself! Works out perfectly for Christmas when you may be buying a lot of gift cards for people anyways….buy it from Card Swap and you get something in return. They have all sorts of gift cards for purchase including clothing, electronic, sports and department stores as well as restaurants.

The nice people at Card Swap gave me that chance to try out their service for free and I used the opportunity to try a restaurant that I’ve never been to before. Mr. Ketchup and I went to Earl’s for the first time and we loved it!

This is a picture of their garlic toast. I wasn’t sure what to expect when I ordered it as they had no cheese option. Normally this disappoints me greatly. THIS time however, I was impressed! These cheese toasts were phenomenal. Probably pretty unhealthy as they were huge chunks of bread and also covered in salt……but yeah, totally delicious.

For my main, I had the Bacon Cheddar Burger with caesar salad. Totally forgot to take a picture until after I had cut it. As far as burgers go, it was pretty great! Mr. Ketchup had the Roasted Vegetable Quesadilla with Clam Chowder and he was pretty happy with his meal as well. Service was excellent as well although it may have been because it was a Monday and a slow night. Overall though we really enjoyed the experience!

      Hi Ilyas! Comments have to be pre-approved before they appear on my blog, which is why you didn’t see it show up right away. Also, my spam filter is picking up a lot of false positives from this contest so I have to go in and mark them as not spam and then approve them. So that would be why!
